Always carry your physical university acceptance letter, your approved Visa documents (e.g., I-20 or CAS), financial proofs, and previous educational transcripts in your hand luggage. Do not check these strictly required documents in your cargo luggage.

Financial Setup

Do not rely solely on cash. Carry a Forex card pre-loaded with your destination currency to handle the first 30 days of expenses, including housing deposits and initial groceries, before you can set up a local bank account.
